The Wyoming State Library and the WYLD Shared Purchases Committee have worked together to bring Zinio Digital Magazines to Wyoming Libraries. Zinio was made available to the public in November 2012. Zinio is an unlimited, simultaneous use digital newsstand. This high quality service is the same as that used by many consumers to access magazines in their digital form, but is now available for libraries through Recorded Books Digital.
The State Library has covered the cost of the platform fee and the initial starter collection of approximately 50 titles. Libraries who choose to purchase additional titles pay only for the subscription price. Once a subscription has been purchased, it will be available to all Wyoming library card holders. *Back issues are not available
Zinio highlights:
- Select from hundreds of magazines
- Digital Magazines are full-print, full-color (including advertisements) - exactly like the print magazine, with bonus interactive elements in many magazines.
- One library can purchase a magazine and the entire library system can enjoy it, in the multi-use, unlimited access model.
- Readers can view the magazines on a variety of devices, and can download the magazine so that it can be enjoyed for offline reading.

Access Information
Users must create an account with Recorded Books and a separate account with Zinio to read and manage their subscriptions
Users outside the library will need to log in to the Recorded Books Zinio page with a library card and PIN the first time they access the collection.
Just like OneClick Digital, first time users will need to select a link for new users if they have not created an account yet, or they will need to use a returning users link where they can log in with their Recorded Books account.
